Institute of Classical Architecture & Art Virtual Lecture, “An Intimate Look at the Life and Work of Trailblazing Architect and Chief Designer of Hearst Castle Julia Morgan.

On March 22, 2022, Julia Morgan’s sesquicentennial year, Victoria Kastner will give a talk centered around her new book, Julia Morgan: An Intimate Biography of the Trailblazing Architect, published by Chronicle books. Drawing on Morgan’s unpublished letters and recently discovered diaries, Kastner provides the first comprehensive portrait of this architect’s inspiring career and private life.
