Lectures
One of San Simeon's two bell towers, designed by Julia Morgan, whose fascinating life is the subject of my newest book. Photo Credit: Muna Cristal.

Now that the solitary process of writing Julia Morgan: An Intimate Biography of the Trailblazing Architect is done, my favorite part begins: I love to lecture, sign books, meet people, and answer questions. My research assistant, Ruth Latson, and I have discovered a great deal of compelling new information for this book–even though we’d already spent decades studying Julia Morgan’s life and career. It turns out she was even more astonishing and admirable than we’d realized. I’d be delighted to receive invitations to speak to your organization–either online or in person–for dates after the book launches on March 1, 2022. Please contact me with your questions or requests.
